School events bring learning to life and help shape our school culture. They help students build confidence, connect with others and celebrate their progress. Events also give families a chance to be involved in school life and share in their child’s achievements.

Bring Your Bike/Scooter to School Day - Thursday 2 April

As part of our Black Hill Way Term 1 PBL Celebrations, students can bring their bike or scooter to school for the day.

Students will be given a lesson on bike and scooter safety. They will be riding their bike or scooter on a special track within the school made up for this day.

Bicycle safety education promotes safe and responsible cycling by providing students with opportunities to develop positive attitudes to safe cycling.

ALL STUDENTS MUST bring a HELMET to be able to ride! NO motorbike helmets!
NO Electric Bikes or scooters allowed!
STUDENTS ONLY!

CANBERRA EXCURSION YEAR 5-6 –2026

Students will visit places such as: Cockington Green Gardens, Museum of Aus Democracy, Mt Ainslie, Zone Bowling, Aus Institute of Sport, Aust War Memorial, Questacon, Embassy Drive Tour, Parliament House.

Destination: Canberra

Staying at: Capital Country Holiday Park, Canberra

Date:Wed 1st July to Friday 3rd July 2026—Wk 11 Term 2

Leaving School on: Wednesday morning 6:30am (approx.)

Returning to school on:Friday evening 5:30pm (approx.)

ZOOSNOOZ YEAR 3-4 –2026

Students will visit the Museum of Contemporary Art, Merlin, Sydney Tower Eye, Sydney Aquarium along with the Zoosnooz including a Night Safari Walking Tour.
