About our school

Black Hill School is nestled on the edge of Newcastle in close proximity to Maitland and Kurri Kurri.

Being a small school, we are able to focus on the individual, concentrating on a holistic approach to our students' education, encouraging positive self-esteem. To this extent, we try to involve the home and community in our learning programs.

It is our stated mission to develop "self-reliant and responsible students ready for the future". Our school activities are structured to support this belief.
